Set up two-factor (2FA) authentication

To help protect your account and sensitive data, BookingPad supports Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Enabling 2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code in addition to your password when logging in. This ensures that only you can access your account, even if your password is compromised.


How to enable 2FA


In order to activate it, it is necessary to follow these steps:


  1. Go to "Account Settings"



  1. Click on "Set up authenticator application"




  1. Follow the instructions to add the 2FA


On the device Name, you can add a descriptive name that easily reminds you of the account, for example, the Smartphone model.


Search in your Appstore or Google Playstore for Google Authenticator


Select Scan QR Code


In the case that scanning the QR is not working properly, you can manually add the code for the device








How to remove 2FA


If you wish to remove the 2FA, click on "Remove":
